Shillong, Jan. 6 -- Fifty-five anti-aircraft live ammunition, suspected to be hidden in a forested area either by militants of the Assam-based United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) or the erstwhile Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA), were recovered on Tuesday by Meghalaya police in South West Garo Hills district.
The recovery was made based on reliable source information by the police that led them to a bamboo grove near Santogre village bordering the India-Bangladesh border, under the Salmanpara police station.
