New York, June 19 -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 107 km SE of Nemuro, Japan at 23:08:05 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 14.9 km, was initially determined to be at 42.79 degrees north latitude and 146.67 degrees east longitude.
