Santiago, Aug. 18 -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted off the coast of Aisen, Chile at 0710 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 44.80 degrees south latitude and 79.85 degrees west longitude.
