Hamirpur, Dec. 30 -- The Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (Mother and Child Protection Program), launched to protect the lives of expectant mothers and their infants, is proving to be a lifesaver for many women and their children.
This scheme is proving to be a boon, especially for infants born with serious and rare problems and their parents, as even major treatments and surgeries for the child are provided free of cost under this scheme.
The Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram has also proved to be a lifesaver for Aradhya Rana, a baby girl born on July 11 this year at the home of Rajneesh Kumar in Rahjol village of Hamirpur tehsil.
