Chennai, Dec. 3 -- Putting an end to widespread speculations that the Congress was deviatingtowards the nascent Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) of actor-turned-neta Vijay, the five memberselection Committee today met DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and seniorDMK leaders ahead of the 2026 Assembly polls due in 5-6 months time.
TNCC President K Selvaperunthagai, MLA, who is also part of the high-level Committee, termed themeeting as a courtesy call and said the INDI Alliance, which had won five successive polls as partof the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) in the State, was intact.
