New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- Five members of the Aarzoo-Anmol Bishnoi-Harry Boxer syndicate were arrested by Delhi Police on Wednesday for their alleged role in the murder of a rival gangster in Chandigarh earlier this month, an official said.

Inderpreet Singh, alias Parry, the former close associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was shot dead on December 1 at Sector 26 Chandigarh, shortly after exiting a club. While seated in his SUV, he was shot at close range by a gunman who escaped with accomplices. Parry was taken to the hospital but died on the way, according to sources.
