Bilaspur(HP), Feb. 14 -- An initiative towards environmental conservation has been undertaken under the Chief Minister's Forest Expansion Scheme in the Maryani beat of the Bharari Forest Range under the Bilaspur Forest Division.
Through this scheme, 5,500 fruit and medicinal plants have been planted across approximately five hectares of forest land. This area, once affected by forest fires and tree loss, is now beginning to transform into a lush forest. This initiative is not only proving significant from an environmental conservation perspective but is also strengthening the biodiversity of the area.
