Jamtara (J'khand), Jan. 2 -- The long-standing demand of fair price shop (Public Distribution System) dealers in Jharkhand for replacing 2G e-PoS machines with upgraded 4G e-PoS machines has finally been fulfilled.

At a programme held here on Friday, State Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister Irfan Ansari distributed 4G e-PoS machines to 639 fair price shop dealers of the district.

Addressing the gathering, he said the ration distribution in the state was earlier being carried out through 2G-based e-PoS machines, which caused significant inconvenience to both dealers and consumers.
