Ranchi, Oct. 31 -- Forty-eight migrant workers from Jharkhand's Hazaribagh, Giridih, and Bokaro districts have been stranded in Tunisia for the past three months after their employer stopped paying their wages.
The workers are reportedly facing severe food shortages and have appealed to both the Central and Jharkhand governments for immediate help to return home safely.
According to reports, the workers have released a video message seeking urgent intervention, stating that they have run out of money and are struggling even to buy food. The stranded workers include 19 from Hazaribagh, 14 from Giridih, and 15 from Bokaro.
