Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 6 -- Kerala will provide Priority Ration Cards to 43,000 families, with State Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.R. Anil inaugurating the state-level distribution here today.
As per the National Food Security Act and in line with changing socio-economic conditions, the state government has updated the priority list to include the most deserving families.
Under this revised list, 43,000 families will be issued Priority Ration Cards. To ensure a prosperous Onam, the Kerala government has also announced special food distribution schemes.
