Hyderabad, July 12 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud today hailed the state government's decision to implement 42 per cent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in local body elections as a historic step towards social justice.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud credited the Congress party for consistently championing the rights of BCs and called the move a testament to the party's commitment to equity and inclusion.
