Patna, May 31 -- In a major administrative reshuffle, the Bihar government on Saturday transferred 41 IAS officers, including five Commissioners and 18 District Magistrates.
Besides the transfers, five senior IAS officers were also promoted to Secretary rank.
According to a notification issued by General Administration Department, 41 IAS officers were transferred and five of them are Divisional Commissioners, while eighteen are District Magistrates.
Mayank Barbare, Commissioner of Patna Division has been made Director of Bihar Education Project, while Saravanan M, Commissioner of Tirhut Division has been shifted to Rural Development Department as its Secretary.
