Agartala, May 17 -- Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Saturday reiterated the state's five-year roadmap to achieve self-sufficiency in fish, meat, milk, and egg production.
Speaking at the inauguration of a Dairy plant in Bamutia, near Agartala Dr Saha said the Animal Resources Development Department is working diligently to meet this target.
The dairy plant with a processing capacity of 40,000 liters per day, was inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Rajiv Ranjan Singh. The project has been developed under the National Programme for Dairy Development.
