Nashik, June 21 -- A four-year-old girl was killed when a leopard attacked her in an agricultural field in Gonde Shivar in Sinnar taluka of the district on Friday evening.
According to the forest department, the deceased was identified as Janhvi Suresh Mengal (4). A leopard hiding in a field dragged and killed a four-year-old girl in front of her mother while she was returning home from work in Gonde Shivara in the Sinnar taluka on Friday around 6.30 pm.
Seeing her daughter dragged by a leopard in front of her eyes, the mother and the labourers with her ran into the jowar crop screaming. Due to their screams, the leopard left Janhvi and fled.
