Islamabad, Sept. 13 -- Four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military has said.

The operation was conducted in Mastung district on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in a statement on Friday.

During the operation, security forces engaged the terrorists' hideout, and following an exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed, the statement said.
