Jaipur, Dec. 11 -- Four people were killed and 18 others, mostly pilgrims, injured after the sleeper coach they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck near Fatehpur town in the district.
The ill-fated sleeper coach was heading to Jaipur late Tuesday night when it rammed into a truck that was moving in opposite direction, on Bikaner-Jaipur Highway. Among the passengers mostly were pilgrims from Gujarat, who were returning home after paying obeisance at the Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra - Jammu.
The collision was so powerful that 4 died on the spot and the front portion of the bus was badly damaged. The police and the rescuers had to work hard to extricate some passengers.
