Nashik, Oct. 14 -- Four members of a family who were injured in a diesel can explosion in Satpur's Mahadev Wadi area on October 8 succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as Sonali Gadekar (35), Durga Akash Dobade (22), Kailas Chhagan Dobade (57), and Pankaj Kailas Dobade (33).
The incident occurred when around six members of the same family were watching workers cut a tree branch using a machine. Diesel was being used to operate the cutter, and a diesel can had been kept by the roadside.
