Kolkata, Oct. 15 -- Four Bangladesh nationals and an Indian have been arrested from West Bengal's border district of Murshidabad during a special raid, official sources said.

The infiltration of the four foreigners occurred on Monday from the porous border of Lalgola of the Murshidabad district and since then they were hiding in a shelter provided by the arrested Indian.

The Murshidabad police raided the hideout yesterday and arrested the four Bangladeshi infiltrators and the Indian from Lalgola.

Police said they were investigating the motive of the intruders, adding they were also looking for two more Indians for facilitating the illegal entry of Bangladeshi nationals into Murshidabad.
