New Delhi, Dec. 21 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Sunday said that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has conducted a comprehensive survey of factories across its 12 zones, during which a total of 5,236 industrial units were inspected. Out of these, 430 units were found to causing water and air pollution, Sirsa said.

According to the minister, 386 units found violating environmental norms were sealed on the spot as part of strict enforcement action. He said the drive was carried out in line with the Delhi government's zero-tolerance policy against pollution.
