Jammu, July 5 -- At least 36 Shri Amarnath Yatra pilgrims today suffered minor injuries when four convoy vehicles collided near Chanderkot in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said that the collision of vehicles took place when driver of one of the buses in the convoy lost control reportedly due to brake failure near Chanderkot.
"Police, paramilitary forces and locals along with health department team immediately swung into action and launched the rescue operation and shifted injured to the hospital," they said.
They added that all pilgrims are safe and stable, adding, "pilgrims have minor injuries and will be discharged soon."
