Varanasi, Nov. 29 -- A grand oath-taking parade of Agniveers, in line with military traditions, was held on Saturday at the 39 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) in Varanasi Cantonment.

A total of 353 Agniveers from the 06/25 batch of the Agnipath Scheme placed their hands on the sacred Bhagavad Gita, pledging to uphold the dignity of the national flag and to dedicate their lives to the defense of the nation. The ceremony was marked by a display of military discipline, enthusiasm, and pride.
