Kaithal, July 2 -- Police raided an illegal drug de-addiction center and rescued 35 people being confined there, and arrested three persons, in a village in Azamgarh.
Police also recovered 42 banned drugs from the illegal centre.
The three arrested accused were identified as Rajesh Kumar, of village Chaba, Gaurav Kumar, resident of Bhatinda Punjab, and Prince of Samana. They were arrested by the team of ASI Rajesh Kumar, of Mahmudpur police post in -charge.
A police spokesman said that on July 1, a team of Dr. Navraj Singh, DNO Kaithal, raided at a drug de-addiction center being run illegally in village Azamgarh.
