Islamabad, Nov. 4 -- Pakistani security forces killed three terrorists in two separate operations in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said on Monday.

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said the first operation took place near the Esham area of North Waziristan District on Sunday, where troops detected the movement of militants attempting to infiltrate Pakistan from across the border with Afghanistan.

Security forces engaged the infiltrators, killing two of them, the ISPR said.
