Aizawl, Oct. 3 -- Mizoram has made a significant achievement in healthcare quality, with three more Primary Health Centres (PHCs) now certified under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS).

This brings the total number of NQAS certified PHCs in the state to 34, out of a target of 57, marking a major step forward in improving healthcare services across the region.

Dr. Lily Chhakchhuak, Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Health & Family Welfare Department, highlighted that the newly certified PHCs Phullen, Hnahlan and Reiek achieved impressive scores of 90.68 percent, 93.36 percent and 90.76 percent respectively in the NQAS evaluation.
