Chennai, March 28 -- Three workers were killed and several others rescued after a roof of
a first floor collapsed at a recreational club at Alwarpet area in the city on Thursday night.
Police and Fire officials, who rushed to the rescue operations, confirmed three deaths.
While, one worker was from Tamil Nadu, the other two were migrant contract workers from
Manipur.
So far one body was recovered from the spot.
Rescue operations are on.
