Kurnool, July 10 -- Three members of a family were killed and six others were injured when the Scorpio vehicle in which they were traveling rammed into a stationary tractor at Kalvabugga village of Orvakallu mandal today.
Police said that a nine-member family was going to Mydukur in Kadapa district from Hyderabad in the Scorpio vehicle. The vehicle rammed a stationary tractor killing Munni (35), Sheik Kamal Basha (50) and Sheik Nadiya (3). Munni and Kamal Basha were killed instantaneously while Nadiya succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The injured were admitted to the RIMS hospital where the condition of one of the women is said to be critical. The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH for postmortem.
