Nashik, Sept. 21 -- Three men who collected the entry fee at Trimbakeshwar taluka were arrested for assaulting three electronic Media journalists when they were covering a report of a meeting organized by Sadhu and Mahant at Trimbakeshwar.
According to police, yesterday the meeting of sadhus and mahants was organized in Trimbakeshwar in the backdrop of the upcoming Simhastha.
As the journalists arrived in their car to cover the meeting, contract-based workers of the Trimbakeshwar Municipal Council stopped them and demanded entry fees.
Despite identifying themselves as journalists, the workers refused to allow their entry, leading to a clash.
