Srinagar, May 13 -- Three hardcore terrorists were killed in a gun battle with security forces in south Kashmir's Shopian district, the Indian Army said on Tuesday.
They said an operation was launched on specific intelligence of a Rashtriya Rifles Unit, about the presence of terrorists in general area Shoekal Keller.
"During the operation, terrorists opened heavy fire and fierce firefight ensued, which resulted in the elimination of three hardcore terrorists," Army said.
