Garhwa, April 18 -- Three people lost their lives and six others were injured when the terrace of a house collapsed at Achla Nawadih village under Garhwa Police Station area of this district.
Police said a large number of people, including women and young girls, were watching a marriage procession, leaning against the parapet of the terrace, yesterday night.
Unable to withstand the weight, suddenly the railing gave way and some part of the terrace also collapsed.
The disintegrated part of the structure fell on some people standing below.
The deceased have been identified as Ashok Dubey, Indernath Dhar Dubey and Shilendra Dhar Dubey, police informed.
