Shimla, Oct. 14 -- A total of 28 projects with a proposed investment of about Rs 1,734.65 crore and the potential to generate employment for about 5,388 persons were approved during the 31st meeting of the State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority (SSWC&MA), held here last night under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
The new proposals approved by the Authority include manufacture of Malt Spirit (fresh and mature), gin, Indian Made Foreign Liquor, and cattle feed in Kangra.
Other significant projects include manufacturing of solar cells in district Sirmaur and Solan and electric vehicles and accessories at Baddi, district Solan.
