Belagavi, April 16 -- Authorities have set up 2566 polling booths for tomorrow's by-election to Belagavi Lok Sabha seat and all arrangements were placed in order for the polling which was caused due to demise of Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi due to Corona in New Delhi.
Of the total polling booths, 587 has been identified as hyper sensitive and 118 as vulnerable and special security arrangements were made to maintain law and order, according to an official release here on Friday.
In all there are 10 candidates in the fray. While BJP has fielded Ms Mangala Angadi, wife of Suresh Angadi, to encash sympathy votes, Congress has fielded sitting MLA and former Minister Satish Jarkiholi. In all there are 18,13,567 voters, inc...
