Patna, March 19 -- Bihar Energy Minister Vijender Prasad Yadav on Wednesday announced in Assembly that 250 new power sub-stations would be constructed during the financial year 2025-25.

Yadav while replying to debate on budgetary demand of Energy department for the financial year 2025-26, said in House that decision had been taken to construct 250 new power sub-stations in Bihar during the next financial year.

It would help in quality power supply to consumers, he added.

Minister said that both power distribution companies had started registering profits since 2022-23.
