Gaza, March 19 -- At least 25 Palestinians were killed and dozens of others wounded on Wednesday in the Israeli bombing of a house in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, according to Palestinian sources.
Among the victims were women and children, medical sources told Xinhua. Eyewitnesses said the dead and wounded had been transported to the hospital.
Security sources said Israeli warplanes targeted the house with at least one missile.
Earlier Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that overnight, the IDF struck a Hamas military site in northern Gaza where preparations were being made to "fire projectiles at Israeli territory."
