Agartala, Jan. 12 -- In a joint operation, South Tripura district police and jawans of 69 battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) in Khedabari of Sabroom, successfully recovered a significant quantity of sarees from an abandoned location along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Acting on precise intelligence, the team searched an abandoned site located in the Bagantilla area of Gaurangabazar last night, police said, adding that the consignment was suspected to be smuggled out to Bangladesh.
