Kangra, Aug. 18 -- As part of its continued drive against drugs, Kangra Police arrested a 24-year-old man for possession of 9.03 grams of heroin. Sanjeev Kumar Station House Officer Kangra police station told UNI that the accused has been identified as Rahul Chowdhary, a resident of Natehad village. SHO said he was apprehended during patrolling near Samela, close to the temple adjacent to the old bridge connecting the National Highway with Kangra Fort, on Sunday. He said that Rahul was booked under various sections of the NDPS Act and was produced before the local court today where the court remanded him to police custody for three days.
