Hyderabad, March 12 -- Altogether 24 people from Telangana were among 540 Indians rescued from cyber scam compounds in Myawaddy of Myanmar, police said on Wedneday.
The Central Government has successfully facilitated the rescue and repatriation of 540 Indian national who were trapped in cyber scam compounds in Myawaddy, said TGCSB Director Ms Shikha Goel in a release here on Wednesday.
These individuals were released and brought back to Delhi in two batches 283 in the first batch and 257 in the second batch on March 10 and 11 respectively.
Among the rescued Indians, 24 belong to the state of Telangana and on Tuesday, 14 members from the first batch arrived in Hyderabad from Delhi while the remaining 10 members are currently enroute and w...
