Hyderabad, June 24 -- The safe return of Telangana citizens from conflict-affected regions in the Middle East continues, with the total number of evacuees reaching 23 as of 1300 hours on June 23.
This evacuation effort is being closely monitored and coordinated by the Government of Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
According to officials at Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi, 17 new arrivals were recorded on June 23, including 5 from Masshad, Iran, 1 from Jordan (via Iran), 11 from Israel (in two groups of 7 and 4)
These are in addition to six students-four from Iran and two from Israel-who arrived earlier, bringing the total number of Telangana citizens returned to 23.
