Bhubaneswar, Sept. 11 -- About 23 tourists from Odisha, stranded amid violence and political instability in Himalayan country of Nepal, have been brought safely back by a joint and well-coordinated exercise by the State and Central government, a senior official here informed today.
They are all safe and sound and have been repatriated after a 48-hour shutdown and prevailing chaos in the neighbouring country.
After the reopening of the airport at Kathmandu, the stranded Odisha tourists along with others of different States were flown back to India, added the official.
