Vizianagaram, Oct. 7 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Endowments Anam Ramnarayan Reddy has announced that 210 temples are being developed in the state at a cost of Rs 290 crore.
The Endowment Minister participated in a religious programme organized at the Paidithalli Ammavari temple, on the occasion of Dussehra festival here on Tuesday. The Minister presented silk robes to the goddess.
Speaking on the occasion, he revealed that the Government has decided to implement comprehensive changes in the temples across the State. Under the Common Good Fund, 210 temples will be renovated by spending Rs 290 crore. The Government is committed to protect the ancient temples by renovating and protecting the religious wealth," the acknowledged.
