Jalgaon (Maharashtra), Aug. 12 -- A 21-year-old youth was brutally beaten to death by a gang at Chota Betavad in Jamner taluka of Jalgaon district yesterday evening.
The deceased was identified as Suleman Rahim Khan (21), according to the police. Suleman Khan had come to Jamner city yesterday in the afternoon for some work.
Some unknown youths beat him up in a cafe in the city, police said. The accused chased him and went to his village, Chota Betavad and beat him up again.
Suleman's parents were also beaten up when they tried to mediate.
Upon receiving information about this incident, Jalgaon Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Reddy visited Jamner police station and took stock of the situation.
