Bengaluru, March 11 -- As many as 21 flights were cancelled at Kempegowda International Airport on Wednesday following airspace restrictions affecting routes between India and several West Asian destinations, airport authorities said.

According to Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), which operates the airport, the cancellations included 11 incoming flights and 10 departing services during the day.

Officials said the airspace curbs disrupted flight operations on several international sectors linking Bengaluru with key Gulf destinations, forcing airlines to cancel or review services due to operational constraints.
