Nagpur, Oct. 14 -- A political controversy has erupted in Wandongri(Hingna) after the NCP-Sharad Pawar faction alleged that around 200 fake voters have been included in the local voter list. However, BJP MLA Samir Meghe has rejected the allegations, terming them as an attempt by the opposition to create an excuse ahead of an expected defeat in the upcoming local body elections.

NCP leader (Sharad Pawar faction) Dinesh Bang claimed that in Ward No. 5 of Rajiv Nagar, over 200 names have been registered under a single house number, raising suspicion of bogus voters. He further alleged irregularities in the electoral roll and claimed that 27 members of a family linked to the ruling party had been added in a slum area of the ward.
