Bijnor, April 30 -- A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night at a local fair in Chandpur, where a 20-year-old youth lost his life after falling from a swing ride.
The victim, Mohammad Faiz, soan of Akram and a resident of Mohalla Qazi Jadgan in Chandpur, had gone to the fair, which has been operating for nearly a month near Haldour Chauraha with permission from the tehsil administration. The fair is being managed under the supervision of contractor Arshad, a resident of Mohalla Kat Kui, officials said on Thursday.
