Satara, Dec. 2 -- Around 20 students were injured, few of them are critical when a private bus in which they were travelling fell into 20 feet deep gorge near Karad on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway within the limits of Wathar village near Karad.
A bus carrying students from the Late B.P. Junior College of Science in Pimpalgaon Baswant, Niphad taluka of Nashik district. There were around 45 students and teachers traveling in the bus.
The accident occurred at 6:45 a.m. today. While bridge construction work was underway in the Wathar Bridge area, within the limits of the Karad Taluka Police Station, the driver lost control of the bus and it plunged directly into the valley below, said Karad police co...
