Thiruvananthapuram, July 28 -- Kerala has implemented the e-Health system in 800 hospitals, and so far, over 2.62 crore people have registered for a permanent UHID (Unique Health ID) through the platform.
Additionally, over 8.88 crore people have sought treatment using temporary registrations, and 15.27 lakh individuals have been admitted and treated through the system, Health Minister Veena George said yesterday evening.
She stated that 18 medical college hospitals, 33 district/general hospitals, 88 taluk hospitals, 48 community health centers, 512 family health centers, 79 urban family health centers, 14 specialty hospitals, 3 public health labs, and 5 other health centers have been brought under the e-Health system.
