Beirut, March 5 -- Two Lebanese brothers were injured on Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes targeting a car in the southern Lebanese town of Ras Naqoura, state media reported.

The state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli drones carried out multiple airstrikes on the vehicle near a landfill site south of a position of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. The brothers, who were collecting scrap metal at the time of the strike, were wounded and taken to the hospital.

According to the NNA, Lebanese army personnel and civilians attempted to reach the site, but Israeli drones launched another strike to prevent them from accessing the area.
