Chandigarh, March 14 -- In a major counter-terrorism operation, the Amritsar Rural Police has dismantled an ISI-sponsored terror and cross-border arms smuggling module. During the crackdown, security forces apprehended two suspects and recovered a significant cache of sophisticated weaponry, including an AK-47 rifle, two magazines, 36 live cartridges, and three high-end Glock 9mm pistols. The operation is being viewed as a major blow to the attempts of hostile agencies to destabilize the peace in the border state.
