Hyderabad, July 9 -- Telangana Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao today confirmed that the managers of the toddy compounds in Kukatpally, Hydernagar, and Kalu-which were linked to the recent adulterated toddy (kaltu) incident-have been arrested.
Speaking to the media after visiting the affected individuals at Gandhi and NIMS Hospitals, the Minister revealed that a total of 19 people fell ill after consuming the adulterated toddy. Of them, 15 are currently undergoing treatment at NIMS Hospital, two at Gandhi Hospital, and two more at a private hospital.
