Agartala, May 24 -- Three days after the recovery of the dead body of a 9-year-old girl who was allegedly murdered in a mysterious circumstance, police on Saturday arrested the brother and detained the mother of the victim at Manubazar under South Tripura district.
The body of the 9-year-old Ujjashikha Tripura, daughter of Rahim Tripura, was recovered on Wednesday. Police arrested Ujjashikha's elder brother, 18-year-old Sahel Tripura, in connection with the case, while the deceased's mother, Sabita Tripura, has been detained.
