Mumbai, Oct. 2 -- An 18-year-old youth was arrested in Vashi on charges of molesting a minor girl, following a complaint lodged by her father at Rabale police station.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening when the girl and the accused had met around 8 pm before proceeding towards another garba venue.
According to the police, the accused took the girl in his car during the journey and allegedly made obscene advances towards her. At that time, the girl received a phone call from her father.
During the conversation, her father sensed something was wrong and questioned her. The girl then informed him about the incident, after which he immediately approached the police.
